I worked alongside the LEGO® Art and Botanicals lead team to redefine the direction of the franchise. In the years since, I have mentored a growing team, onboarding new designers and setting the art direction of the themes.
From tiles to bricks
Original LEGO Art approach based on the use
of 1×1 LEGO rounded plates and tiles.
Current LEGO Art approach, incorporating the whole assortment
of LEGO System and interpreting iconic art pieces.
A couple of years after the launch of LEGO® Art, the franchise needed a revision in order to showcase the full potential of the theme.
I had then the opportunity to apply my knowledge of the LEGO® System to improve user experience, prototyping new concepts and proposals that changed the team’s direction into leveraging classic art masterpieces featuring intricate and surprising LEGO building techniques.

As the team has grown I have onboarded new colleagues and guided them and the LEGO® Art portfolio through both concept and model development.

My creative vision for the line has lead to me guiding others in art direction, as well as innovating on how we might interpret future opportunities into brick form.
Partner Collaboration
I am the principle driver behind onboarding new IP partners into LEGO® Art and setting clear objectives for collaboration.
Concept and strategy
In collaboration with the lead team, I have contributed heavily in planning a sustainable future for LEGO® Art .
